The university will provide bus services from adjoining towns of H.P Punjab and J&K for campus and return to home in the evening , primarily, the bus will ply from Kathna (J&K), Jassana, Gurdaspur, Mukerian, Mirthal Devanagar, Pathankot (Punjab), Narpur, Indora, Falwara.

For hostellers, the university will ply free bus service from campus to Pathankot on Sundays and other holidays on regular basis, for hostellers going home on announced festivals and holidays, special services will be available on nominal charges.

During winter & summer breaks, the hostellers will be dropped free of cost at Pathankot railway station and bus stand of Pathankot.

The Central library of the university is a large 3 storied complex which homes 36 Lenovo PC’s with broadband Service. This assures all our students to seach the information on-line as well as barrow books online.

The library has large reading area for everyone to concentrate. In its first phase, the library is housed in 14000 sq ft.

The library has interloan facility. The library is well stacked and catalogued and uses LIBSY

The students are constantly counseled on large issues of campus like campus life, Life in hostel, Class-room, attendance about facilities in the campus. In this first stage, just at the time of admission and registration for the semester, every student is counseled about class attendance, pedagogy academic calender, examination system, method of evolutions etc The first phase of counseling is compulsory for all newly admitted students.

The university  follows open door and transparent policy for admission at least  15% seats are reserved in all courses for bonafide wards  of in general Himachal Pradesh residents. In general also, preferences will be given to Himachal Pradesh bonafides in matters.

The admission in 2009-10 all courses is bassed on merit & the list is drawn based on merit.

Only bonafide Indian residents who have passed the qualifying examination with 50% marks from the recognised Indian State, Boards, Central board or a degree with 50% marks in graduation from a recognized university.

Scholarship

The university has a policy of rewarding merit; this thought on the part of university has been a boon for meritorious students. The students, securing 90% marks in qualifying degree are rewarded with 100% tuition fees scholarship for the complete duration of course. Similarly students securing 70% and 80% marks in qualifying degree are awarded 10% and 20% scholarships in tuition fees.

The university has been conscious of global warming due to increasing “Carbon load “ of the university as result of increasing emission of green house gases.

The university considers itself lucky to be placed in the foothills of Kangra and in a green area . The university has developed all its infrastructure and facilities with due clearance of pollution control board of the Govt. of H.P, The university has thus become eligible for Carbon-Credits.

For refreshing and rejuvenating the over worked mind of budding managers, scientists & engineers Arni emphasizes on curricular, co- curricular and extra-curricular activities.

To facilitate this, sports grounds for hockey, volley ball, cricket, football, basketball courts, lawn tennis courts, badminton courts, table tennis courts, etc, are provided.
